"The property is quite dated but clean and in a good location close to the marina and lots of good restaurants. Their breakfast buffet was very good and parking is right next-door. Rooms are good size and had a nice fireplace but or dated. They can use some updating and remodeling. The gardens outside the rooms were kept up and very nice. "

"I especially like the room and bed looked clean. The staff members were friendly. Check in and out was easy. They made a mistake on the cost of the room but was corrected without fuss. The property is old but very clean."

"I don’t like to leave reviews but I had to make an exception for this hotel. It was way better than I expected, I was a little bit concerned since I was traveling by myself but I felt safe the whole time, I didn’t even need to use my door lock because they already have on the door, while most hotels doesn’t. The staff at the front desk were just amazing and so friendly and I’m very picky about costumer service. I’ll definitely come back to this hotel on my next business trip to Monterey. "
