"Moonglow was a perfect little paradise for my husband and I. The location is close to the airport and Carmel, but you wouldn't know that anything else was close once you drive up the driveway. It's secluded and serene. I wish the weather had been a little nicer to sit out on the deck. Diane and Check were great to visit with. We had a wonderful time, even sitting in the hot tub while it was raining. So many thoughtful touches- handwritten note, a bottle of wine, and chocolates. "

"The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space."

"This was the perfect get away from a Mn arctic blast in January. Sarah was responsive and helpful with every question we had and Mark was gracious in orienting us to the property and cottage upon our arrival. The cottage was small, comfortable and cozy which was perfect for our needs and the view was beautiful. The location was nice with easy access to Point Lobos and other trails. We truly enjoyed our stay at this property and would love to visit again."

"We had a delightful stay. The owners could not have been more kind or accommodating. There was a rain and heavy wind storm during our stay and the property lost power. The owners bent over backwards to make sure we had light and were comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous and we had everything we needed in the guest cabin, which was new and modern with high ceilings and four glass doors to view the garden and gorgeous cypress trees.
