"Pretty good and very convenient "

"A very good stay at the Thon Hotel Slottsparken. The main reason for selecting the hotel was the availability to accommodate 3 adults (adult daughter still loves free holidays!) and the 'Business' room option worked our perfectly with plenty of room for us all. Location wise it was very close to the palace in a nice quiet area whilst also being less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Oslo and the Nationaltheatret train station which has a direct link to the airport. "The hotel staff are super helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in a good location. Close to restaurants and a 10 minute walk to central train station. The room however was so small. We had to pick the suitcase up to walk around the bed. The hotel could also use a little T.L.C"

"I paid £67 per night for a single room with window. Considering the price level, this hotel gives you value for money. It’s not fancy and has nothing extra but it’s definitely worth £67. The bed was soft and comfy. The breakfast was actually very good with a wide selection of cooked food in addition to cold cuts and cheese. I think they had herring too. Nice bread, croissants and freshly made pancakes. The location is of course very convenient next to the central station. "
