"There was nothing that we did not like about our stay! We decided to escape for one night, without the kids, to relax after a hectic Christmas and it did not disappoint. The room was very spacious, well laid out, and very clean. We had dinner in the main restaurant (Calders) and the food was exceptional, thank you to the chef and staff who welcomed and served us. We had the pleasure of using the newly refurbished spa facilities (apparently some work still to be done but we could not tell) and...

"The room was of excellent proportions, comfortable bed and warm. The only item missing was a fridge. The evening meal in the restaurant was well presented, but not to my taste, a bit too vegetarian particularly the starters. At breakfast time, whilst it was a good meal, the staff had difficulty in keeping up which meant there was often several items awaiting replenishment. A good stay. "

"I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. The cooked breakfast was all GF and a very generous portion. I would definitely stay again. "
