"There was a lot of construction going on so it was kind of hard to walk on the street in front but I think they were headed towards being finished and had laid down gravel a few days before we left which was nice. Really great location, next to the weekend farmer's market, close to an excellent bakery Breaking Bread, and pretty easy walk through town to get to the beach. "This is such a gorgeous boutique hotel with excellent customer service. It’s conveniently located with about a 6 minute walk to the beach and main strip. Juan Carlos is very friendly and definitely helpful. Going during rainy season was really great too because it was never crowded anywhere we went."

The restaurant menu was fine for about 2 nights, but if one stayed longer, it was limited. Some of the lounge chairs were looking a bit worn. We would have liked the pool to be accessible for evening swimming. The pool area was completely dark by 7 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Sugar Beach Hotel."
