"Wonderful "

"I would give 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the fact that the hotel needs an upgrade. However, they take cleaning seriously, and the staff is amazing, caring and attentive, but everything else needs an upgrade. I was under the impression that they’re aware of that and they compensate in other ways. The bathroom is well maintained but everything else looks old, such as carpets, curtains, the woods, the doors, and the AC is very noisy. But the worst part was having to pay $45/night for parking....

"I love staying in historic hotels and The Ashton did not disappoint. The room was in excellent condition and very comfortable. The staff was fantastic. There were only two things that could use improvement. 1. We had a room facing the street and the noise from passing vehicles in the middle of the night was unbearable. The third party parkng service was spotty. Two day hour vehicle arrived between 10 - 15 minutes of request. Two days it took over 25 minutes. "

"Love the history! If you want luxury for the $400+ a night stay, this is not for you! Walking distance to bars, shopping, museums and restaurants!! "

"When talking about the hotel and hotel staff, everything was amazing. I was easily accommodated with a hair dryer in minutes. The sweet women at the check in/out desk provided rapid services. Now, as far as valet? TERRIBLE. My boyfriend requested the truck as we were checking out. Once done with that we headed outside and noticed there was a small line of people waiting for their cars (3-4) no big deal. We began to notice more people checking out and getting their vehicles before us after 30...
