"My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Baymont in Dallas. We knew we weren’t going to spend much time at the hotel, as we had a long list of things we wanted to do while in Dallas. With that being said, I didn’t want to pay a lot for a room. The hotel itself is older. It has an older, musty smell to it. Nothing unbearable, but something you get used to after a while. "The staff was courteous and available 24/7. I had a problem with a continuous blinking "message" light on the telephone and no one could explain why or turn it off. The solution offered was to cover the phone or unplug it; neither of which was suitable to me. Also, there was some type of "smart" mirror in the room above the desk that even when "off" still had control buttons that glowed all the time and there was apparently no way to turn off so impossible to sleep with the light they emitted....
