"The Kamana is lovely and luxurious. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. We loved the fluffy robes and comfy bed. The lounge is gorgeous and the restaurant has outstanding view of the lake and mountains. We arrived after a backpacking trip and sat in the lounge area (also with great views) for a delicious dinner from a varied menu (great wines too). "This is a recently updated facility, techie. Rooms are very small and have no access to refrigerator or microwave on site. No parking and I got a $100 ticket after parking where desk had told me to. Free hot drinks is nice. "

"This was a great base for a stay in Queenstown. Check in and checkout was easy and flexible, and bag storage was available. Amenities were good. The only negative was that it was easy to hear everything around you including next door, tour buses arriving in the early hours and nearby roadworks during the night. "
