"Loved this property and our stay in a room with lake view and open air bath in room. We opted for the half board so we enjoyed their breakfast buffet and nightly Kaiseki dinner, which was delicious and beautifully presented. " It's was a treat to stay in a traditional Ryokan-difficult to tell if this is really traditional or not. The onsen was nice, the futon beds were small and uncomfortable, the food looked spectacular but was pretty disappointing, very expensive dinner especially as there are so many nice places for a lot less near by. Breakfast was includde and again looked great but wasn't for us, so we cancelled 2 out of 3 days. Ideally located to explore the area with great views of Fuji about a 2 min walk...

"Amazing hotel with a beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji! Room was nice and clean. Onsen was clean and empty when we were there. Service is excellent . Our personal server for dinner and breakfast, Nakamura San was the best! Kawaii! Delicious meals. Overall a memorable experience!"

"The hotel lived up to its name with fantastic views of My Fuji (except during rainfall). Clean, comfy room with a good choice of breakfast buffet items. Also good shuttle service to the station. "

"The hotel is very quiet. The hotel is old but they keep it very clean. The best part is that we get to see Mount Fuji in our room and from the outdoor onsen. There are 1 cold water tank and 4 types of onsen for women, 2 outdoor, 2 indoor. The onsen is very nice. Staff members are very friendly. One of them can speak Cantonese. This hotel is recommended. I definitely will book this hotel next time when I come back to Fujikawaguchiko."
