"Hard to live here without a car, it’s far from downtown in a city without much commotion. Everything else is satisfactory but soundproof is a problem, can clearly hear other people and cleaning staff when they simply walking by outside, and neighbors accidentally banging on the wall is a bit scary at night. "First time in Kobe. Nice hotel in the harbor. I stayed in a corner suite on the 9th floor. Had a great view of the harbor. Was nice to sit out on the deck at night and have a drink. The second morning staying a cruise ship pulled up right beside the hotel. It was so quiet you wouldn't even know they were coming in. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all helpful and kind. The food was delicious (be prepared for A LOT of food at breakfast and dinner) and we loved our in-room onsen . The hotel is showing its age with some visible wear and tear but it didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay. The location can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend staying here. "This location was beautiful. We had a room facing the mountain with a large window and patio. Staff were very nice and English was not a problem. Tattoos need to be covered for the hot spring. There are no sidewalks directly to the hotel but there are many food options within walking distance. Parking was available. There is 1 laundry machine so if you need it you will likely need to wait. "
