"Our experience here at Coto Toji was amazing, from the beginning a driver was waiting us at Kyoto station and he was the one that did the check in at the property. His name is Kibune, an old short funny Japanese guy who made pleasant our first hour in Kyoto. " The pictures online when I did the booking did not match the room in reality. I know we were in Japan, so I was not expecting a huge space, however this room was extremely tiny, dirty, the covers on the bed had stains on them, the walls all over the room had brown stains on them and the bathroom had mould growing on the ceiling. It was by far the worst place I have stayed at. I was scared to breath or touch anything, I have travelled extensively and have stayed at airbnbs, luxury hotels and bed...
