"Upon departing from Tokyo, my younger brother and I chose this lovely location for our Kyoto stay. Even doing some research before our trip, I didn't realise we were SO close to Nishiki Market! This was a major plus in our book - the main drag was only around 6-7 mins from the hotel, which also meant our Tea Ceremony was close as well. The hotel is very classy, with gorgeous decor and several restaurants as well as spa and hot spring facilities. I wasn't able to take advantage of the hot spring...

"Very nice hotel closer to everything, room is bigger than other hotel i stay in Japan. The only downside is they reserved the room farthest in elevator which is not convenience for senior person. Some staff are not knowledgeable than others. "

"Hotel is conveniently located to train and bus stations. Lots of high end shops around too aside from drug stores and convenience stores. Walking distance to Nishiki market, Gion and other attractions. Wish we had more time in this area."
