"When I first arrived the gentleman behind the front desk was very cold. No hello. No welcome. Took my passport, handed it to a woman and put my key on the counter. Maybe he was having a bad day. The woman was very friendly and welcoming as was the entire staff all around the hotel. I tried to take a nap before dinner as I was not feeling well and even with turning the heat on high I was shivering. Freezing cold. Three layers plus a thick hoody, socks, warm pants and the three blankets. I thought...

"Don't be fooled by the unassuming hotel exterior. The inside is a throwback to elegance and charm. This older hotel is very nicely appointed. The room was large, modern and well equipped. The hotel provided bottled drinking water daily. Extra features included a safe, small fridge, and good WiFi. In the lobby they served coffee to order.
