"The free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was amazing!! Loved the dining option in the evening! The shuttle to the port was a mix up though. We paid for the gratuities the night before but on the day of the shuttle we had another driver who demanded we pay the gratuities again. He was very rude and stopped to pick up another passenger before taking us to the Carnival Magic Port. "

"The property is well cared for. Rooms are clean. The outdoor bar off of the lobby is a great place to hang out and the staff was very friendly. One downside for us on this trip was that this property was FULL of kids. We traveled without our kids this time and were looking for a different/more relaxed experience. The pool was full of kids and it was nearly impossible to get a chair by the pool because families were out there by 8am....not that I really wanted to be at the pool after all because it was pretty loud. We also tried the beach and it was packed. You could barely get a glimpse of the water. The hotel has beds with LARGE canopies that are set up all along the front row ($400 to rent for the day). They ruin the view. Get to the beach by 9am if you want a chance at a view without paying for the beds. I have stayed here in the past and had a much different/more positive experience. I'd go back with my kids, but I'll be looking for another hotel for an adult weekend meant for relaxing."
