" This is my favorite place to stay. I have been staying here since the early 2000s and have stayed at least 10 times (if not more). The Inn is beautifully and meticulously restored keeping with the time-period of the building but adding modern conveniences such as excellent water pressure, comfortable beds, and many other amenities. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I recommend the Mercantile Inn to everyone I know. "

"Great little house for our winter getaway. Beds were a bit firm for me and the wife kids had no problems with them. That was our only gripe and it’s just a personal preference. Didn’t put a damper on our stay though as it was nothing a hot shower in the morning couldn’t take care of. Quaint little house in a quiet neighborhood."

"Though there was just a little snow at the cabin, there was plenty of snow on the mountain. We spent the days snowboarding, tubing, and ice skating and enjoyed warm, cozy evenings in this beautiful cabin watching movies, playing board games and enjoying each other’s company. Some of us even hiked Eagle’s Rest trail to the summit and took some family photos with Mount Shasta as the backdrop. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you might need for a great vacation! "

"This property is perfectly located to access the Mt. Shasta Ski Park and its adjacent cross-country Nordic Skiing Center. You can get there within 15 minutes. Waterfalls, lakes, and hikes are also easily accessible. It is all about location. We look forward to also visit in the summer."

"This was the most amazing and spectacular get away my wife and I have ever been on. Chris was amazing, so friendly and easy to be around as well as smart and well spoken. If I could have this guy as my neighbor i would move in tomorrow. The place is peaceful and tranquil and I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else. We will definitely be back and will remain friends with this one of a kind person."
