"The walk to the hotel from the Kusatsu bus station is not a mere 8-10mins or so, esp with luggage in tow and that it’s a bit steep to get to this hotel. Definitely not for older folks!! Didnt like that we also couldnt prearrange for taxi service ahead of time on our way back to Tokyo as we did not want to catch the bus again. One staff seemed a bit uncertain and hesitant about it, so left a bit disappointed. Food was wonderful though, for both breakfast and dinner. The use the local ingredients...

"I have stayed here before, and I will certainly consider staying here again when I next visit Nagano-ken. The hotel is right next to the Nagano Station. I was able to park my rental car easily in the basement garage (1,000 yen per day). Check-in was quick. A guest can walk to many nearby stores and restaurants. Overall, I had a nice stay. Thanks!"

"Very closed to the bus station, which was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is building with old architecture, but with modern updates. It was an easy check-in process. Our room was really nice and spacious. The room was clean, but my blank had a small stain on the blanket. The wifi is really good. There is a public onsen on the lower floor for guests to enjoy. We reserved a 45 mins private onsen for 3200 yen. It was well worth it! The room was roomy and clean. It has a private shower and bathroom....

"Good location, close to the yubatake. Hotel is modern, looks new and clean, however did find mould on the shower floor. Meals not a strong suit. Great stay overall."

"One of the best place to experience outdoor onsen at 1800m up in the mountain. Not a lot to do outside winter season if you do not drive. The surrounding is beautiful and an hour drive away from the Snow Monkey Park."

"It was a relaxing and comfortable stay. Hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel lobby has a welcoming and warm fireplace, it was perfect on a cold day. The room was very clean and spacious. If I have to be picky, then there was only a small sofa which very tightly fit two persons. There is a balcony where there are lawn chairs. It was too cold to sit outside. The hotel has separated buildings so to go from your room to the restaurant or lobby or spa, you have to walk outside...
