"Overall a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival which was a nice touch however a night there was a lot of noise until late as well as early in the morning. I’m not sure if this was due to location of the room (being on first floor and above the dining room/kitchen). It was difficult to sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper."

"A great place - set in the cliff tops with amazing views. Great spa facilities, large comfortable beds, superb food, and friendly and efficient staff. The free shuttle buses/taxis to and from the airport, local walking areas and Funchal, meant we didn't have to hire a car, and there were also free e-bikes which were great.
