Only thing - and it’s personal opinion - was that the menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner were not always to our taste and there were often better and cheaper options in Funchal. We tended to eat from the breakfast buffet rather than table menu which we enjoyed b much. None of the above should dissuade you from staying there. I would say it’s one of the best hotels...
