"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We had a great 5-week stay at Casa da Rocha. The 3BR setup worked well with 2 pre-teen kids and a dog. I particularly enjoyed this part of Sintra which is authentically Portuguese and a bit off the beaten path.
