"The hotel was great. Very clean and nice staff. Drinks at the bar were good and the food was okay. The buffet got old after the week. There was entertainment at night. I really enjoyed the stay and would stay here again."

"This was the most beautiful hotel I stayed in. It’s grand it has so many restaurants, bars, and pool areas that you need few days to even discover them all. The staff is very accommodating. It’s super clean and they clean rooms multiple times a day as well as the property itself. This hotel is so worth the price you paying. Also if you choose breakfast included it’s excellent. "

"Overall a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious. If you get a room facing the street and taxi stand it will be noisy at night as there are vars and restaurants across the street. The front desk staff are helpful. Breakfast gets very busy after 830 am and the tables aren't cleared fast enough and glasses and bowls need to be replenished often. It is a 20 minute walk to Funchal and coming back from Funchal there is a medium incline that requires some energy so this is not for everyone,...
