"We loved staying here. For a place right off the main road, it seemed like a far away oasis. The grounds were so well kept and there were tons of outdoor things to do on the property; Including picnic tables, disc golf and a bocce ball court! There was even a pond with bullfrogs singing their night songs. The view was incredible. We could clearly see the ocean and sunrise / sunset from our room, making for some memorable photos. The only reason I’m not giving it an overall 5 stars is because instead of being charged half of the fee upon booking (like it stated we would be), we were charged the entire fee when we got there. "Finding myself on my own for the holidays, I decided to make a short trip to Mendocino, and area that I love. I checked in on Christmas Eve, and stayed for two days. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I was pleased to have a fireplace, sitting area, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The receptionist at the front (I wish I could remember her name) was incredibly helpful in advising me which places would hold Christmas Eve services, and made sure I had anything I needed.
