"Modern hotel in the heart of the Alfama with easy access to trams (if not full), shopping and dining. Has a very nice courtyard and breakfast, although the seating area for breakfast is a tad crowded. The alley to the front entrance is a tad sketchy if you’re a woman alone although we did not incur any issues. Good stay overall!"

"The hotel itself is newer and clean etc. My room was spacious and quiet etc. Staff could be a little more friendly and breakfast could have a wider variety of options. The immediate area is a little sketchy but nobody bothered me. Just be alert. There are several good restaurants nearby and the better areas of town are very near by too. Within walking distance. Kossies coffee shop is excellent and just down the hill 50 feet away. The area should improve over time and this hotel is...
