A broken window has been poorly fixed with wood leaving a gap of around 7mm at the bottom. Had asked for a quiet room which it is until the birds start singing at 5 am."

I always carry my own pillows and a spare throw so I was able to lay on the top on the duvet doubled over with my throw over the top which solved both problems. "Good value room. Clean. Everything needed and although a little old fashioned in places, fits the characterful building. TV and kettle. Some efforts underway to maintain and redecorate. You need to let the shower run for at least 2-3 min for the hot water to come through, but good flow and pressure. Staff helpful and convenient location for the City centre, just by the cathedral. "Perfect in every way. Room superb with all that u need. Comfy bed and very clean. Perfect location next to river basin. We ate at night which along with breakfast was faultless but from check in to check out the staff were awesome with genuine attention to detail. Will be back and will recommend "
