"Our stay at Hotel Verde Mar & Spa in Ribeira Grande was a great escape. The location is fantastic, nestled by Monte Verde Beach and close to a charming little town that’s fun to explore. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, we enjoyed the amenities, especially the indoor pool and sauna, which were perfect for relaxing. The staff really stood out—they were incredibly helpful with booking activities and ready to assist with anything we needed during our stay, which made the trip run smoothly. Breakfast was another highlight—everything was fresh and delicious. And while the ocean views from the restaurant and pool added a lovely touch to the experience, the overall atmosphere was peaceful without being overly flashy. It’s a solid choice for a laid-back stay in the Azores, balancing comfort and convenience well."

"A lovely small complex where the staff are very friendly and are very helpful. They provide advice and information to get the best out of your visit. The location was quiet though still close to Ponta Delgada. It is right on the sea front with great views out to see. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. Sao Miguel is a beautiful island with many great locations to visit. "
