"Friendly staff, especially after a few days in the hotel. Great advice for restaurants. Very clean and excellent location. Incredible views and hikes just outside of the hotel. Dining options around holidays were limited and service was lacking. Perhaps it was due to holidays, but the special dinner was expensive and really did not match our expectations, or depart far from breakfast (which is quite nice). Excellent spa and a good value massages."

"Though stayed a short day at this hotel, we absolutely loved it. The hotel was very clean, the food options were great, tasty, and overall really good choice and variety. This hotel is super clean, we never had any issues with the room. We also enjoy the very easy parking. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I am sure I will be returning to this one again in the future. Good job and thank you Azoris Royal Garden."

"The Asian restaurant had a chef that created a beautiful vegan dinner especially for me. The spa services were divine. The facility is beautiful and clean, and the staff very pleasant. Recommended!"

"Great hotel right in the centre of the town. Sophia was a great help at the desk too with getting us reservations and calling us cabs. The hot tub and sauna was by reservation which was nice so you get it all to yourself. And theres a nice cafe and bar across the way from the hotel so you can get a close final drink for the night."

"The breakfast was good, plentiful and tasty. BUT there was zero variety, day to day. Always the exact same food. Rooms and hallways were quiet and we were beside the elevator - no problem. Get used to narrow streets and people walking everywhere but still respecting each other's space. Good variety of restaurants and bars all within walking distance but there are smokers everywhere and they smoke in the doorways but not inside a business. Weather is OK and changes by the minute. "Amazing property close to downtown Sao Miguel. Shopping and restaurants near by. Great front desk staff. Turkish baths were quite relaxing after long days of exploring this beautiful island. Rooms were spacious and very nice! Would definitely stay here again. "

"Great hostel, guests were quiet and respectful. Tap cards access the doors and lockers. I would have loved to leave my bag in a locker, but that was not available so I left it under the stairs and came back later for it for an additional 5Euro. "
