"Driftwood Retreat and Ranch was exactly as advertised and our big family very much enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. The property has an "out in the country" feel even though it is only a half-hour or so outside of Austin. The separate buildings offered privacy for family units of varying sizes. "We had our annual family river trip here and it was awesome! It’s rare to have a section of the Blanco all to yourself but we did. The 3 cabins were all clean and beautifully decorated. The access to the river was phenomenal with some great fishing and a nice swimming hole. The Vaughn’s were very easy to work with and communicated well with us! I highly recommend this place!"
