"The location of the hotel is convenient to 熊之湯 ski site with a walking distance of 3 minutes. The onsen itself is of good standard however the facilities within the onsen is inadequate. There are no face tissues, drinking water in the onsen and it’s so cold there. The dinner is nice and has enough food and variety. The breakfast doesn’t fit my appetite. Ski rental is available but the boots are a bit old. Staff is friendly and helpful. "

"We were here for a couple of days and had a wonderful stay! The place is kept clean, and it sits right by the ski hill. Nothing beats a soak in the hot public bath after a day of skiing. "This place is really bad value for money. There were clumps of dust in the bathroom, the fixtures hadn't been updated in decades. The breakfast was awful. Nobody manning the front desk. The Japanese tatami room and the onsen were OK but these were the only redeeming factors in an otherwise totally disappointing stay. I was expecting much, much more for the price we paid. If it was 50% cheaper, it would've been barely worth it."
