"My daughter, my dog and I had a wonderful stay in this guest house! Perfect location? Ideal for dogs (doggy door and fenced yard), and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!"

"We rented the house during Christmas break and it was absolutely wonderful for our large family. Everyone had enough sleeping space, the house was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The view of the mountains and countryside is also a plus! Everything worked out - and the hot tub was a nice addition. The house is even stocked with toys and books for children and plenty of towels and linens. We enjoyed cooking in kitchen as well. This is a great spot! "

"This has become our favorite place to stay in Ashland. We go there often to play at Mt. Ashland and to enjoy the Shakespeare Festival. This beautiful condo has everything we need with amazing views and a great coffee shop right across the street. We don't need to drive to enjoy downtown Ashland, everything is walking distance. It really has become a home away from home for us. "

"The Double Bed Futon on the listing is inaccurate since the couch does not fold out. The property itself was great and perfect for our girl's weekend to see the plays! Within walking distance to the theatres. I liked how the bathrooms had the sinks separate from the toilet and shower room. Great for friends."

"My family had a great time with plenty of room for everyone. Stargazing on the back deck at night and waking up to deer in the yard. My only slight complaint is the description leading you to believe you’ll be secluded on acreage. But there are multiple properties on the lot so you end up having neighbors like any other house. Knowing that going in I would have given it 5 stars across the board. I would stay here again."

"Address and location of house was not correct, but we found it behind the house with our address. The VRBO address does not match the actual house location. Two coffee pots that did not work. After some convincing we were brought a new one. Five women stayed so a few more towels would have been helpful. And, no access to washer and dryer if your visit is short ( that should be noted in the description). Overall , we really enjoyed our stay and the location was great!"

"We were a family group in town to visit our sister several miles away. This home was lovely, well-equipped, super comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet with dedicated parking. The upstairs bedrooms were a bit overheated at night and the floors / stairs creaked as mentioned by other reviewers, but nothing out of the norm for an older house. Will definitely try to stay here again!"

"Nice house, kind hosts next door, great dog set up. Two things to be aware of: the property is double gated, gates set off by car on the way out, so you can't walk off the property. Unless there is some hidden button that is not obvious or in the house instructions...The coffee set up is Keurig only, so bring your own gear if you care!"

"We really enjoyed our short stay here! The cottage is clean, in a great location for walking to OSF and great food, and in a good neighborhood. Communication with the owner/manager was very easy and they were responsive to our few questions. We hope to return in 2025 for a longer visit!"

"The Mountain House is an absolutely fantastic place to stay! We live in Northern California, and our daughter lives in Washington, and we often meet for family gatherings in Ashland. This Thanksgiving we stayed at the Mountain House. It accommodated the entire family, the kitchen was well equipped for our Thanksgiving meal, and the home vibe was perfect for us. The property management was exceptional, great communication and friendly. We would definitely stay again. "

"View was amazing. Property was clean with decent comfortable beds. Very conveniently located to Ashland and Medford. Good response tine from host. Excellent kitchen. We made most of our dinners at home. I would stay here again if the need arises."

"A very nice facility with a great staff. The bed and the Hot shower were lovely after a long travel day. I found my room very clean and inviting with a coffee/tea pot, nice towels and great darkening window shades. While I noticed the traffic noise early in the evening I had a peaceful night. I appreciated a safe and secure parking lot, although the property entrance was a little tricky, perhaps it was my maps. The facility is close to a couple fast food eateries and a grocery store which was walkable and very convenient through the rear parking lot. Great stay, would stay again."
