This hotel is older and has some charm. Very well maintained and CLEAN. (I was so relieved that it was surprisingly clean for an older hotel.) the pool was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back. Our son is in college in the area and this place was just perfect. Quality at a good price is hard to find, Stratford Inn definitely is the best quality for the best price in the area. Next time we will bring our dog, now that we know it’s a great place for it.

We have stayed at the Stratford Inn many times over the past few years. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. We have a large truck and parking has never been a problem in their ample parking lot.

We had a very nice evening at the Stratford Inn and will be glad to stay there again. The front desk was very helpful, the room was spacious and clean and the hotel is close to downtown Ashland. The beds were very comfortable and everything about the room worked as required from the heat to the TV to the shower! It’s a great value in a wonderful town.

The lady in the breakfast room was very kind and a wonderful joy for my work team’s early mornings. She was the highlight of our stay. The best thing about this property are the people, especially Cindy who hosts the breakfast and is a total ray of sunshine. Aside from that, it’s a place full of character, in a great area, close to shopping and restaurants, with a nice big room and reasonably comfortable beds.
