"This is our fourth visit to Emporio. It isn't a very strong hotel on client service, basic training. But this hotel has always tries to improve the infranstructure. The prices compared to other hotels with american brands/franchises are not insane. The food and CUA is fine, but not great. The other restaurants are way better quality, specially Baciolli. Service at the beach is good during a few hours a day, but generally speaking is quite variable from year to year. I did not rent a car, but...

"Large property! Very clean. Beautiful pools and beach. Dining options were good. Had washer dryer in our studio along with a whirlpool tub and small kitchen which was good to have in the room. We don't like adjoining rooms (as you can hear everything through the door) which we got but luckily there was nobody next door for our entire stay. We had an Air conditioning leak which caused a small part of the plaster to fall. They came right away to fix it and plastered it back without fixing...

"Pleasant property with huge well appointed rooms and fabulous bathrooms! Easy walk into town to try different restaurants and cafés and shop (we did not choose the all inclusive option). A long, walkable beach. The secret of this place if you like activities is Gustavo, a one-man band who teaches yoga, pilates, art classes making bracelets, wall-hanging and painted frames, leads bike trips...and more! His friendliness and energy really transformed our stay."

"The property served it’s purpose as we were traveling with family and infant children. The grounds were very clean & tidy and the staff was very friendly & very helpful. Will definitely stay here again when traveling with family."

"There is nowhere else to go eat. The food there is super expensive tacos are the cheapest food you could buy anywhere and I paid 25 dollars for 3 tacos and 3 quesadillas crazy. The staff members were not the friendliest and the pool was a bit dirty. "

"This Resort is beautiful, it was so peaceful, I loved the ocean view. The staff were super helpful and my room was spotless every day thanks to Gabriela. Carlos was very nice as well. I would definitely stay here again."

"This was Not a 5 star property. Our butler service was practically non existent. The Private pool was so disgusting we never went in. The main pool was so freezing you could not stand to get in. The beach was the most filthy beach I have ever seen. This was the worst vacation ever! I have nothing good to say. I hated my time here and wish we never went. Don’t go here. "

"Vidanta Grand Mayan is immensely large property that requires a train or two to be transported to eating area or pools. Even their own staff has a hard time knowing where building or food areas may be. Signs are not easy to read, if any direction is there to instruct guest to different pools, gym, spa, or restaurant area. Food was pricy and not as great as expected. Vidanta charges for just about everything. Charge for attending an evening program and certain restaurants close at least once or...

"This is such a family friendly resort, with several options for children to enjoy entertainment. The food options were great every day and night. I loved the deli downstairs. The staff are incredible and so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for young families. "
