"We needed a place to stay for a few nights while visiting family. It was the perfect place to spend our evenings. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We did have to ask for an extra blanket but it was easily accommodated. The front desk staff were so nice and friendly. It wasn’t a fancy place but a good place to stay for the money."

"This was such a cute older little hotel with plenty of nature walk opportunities with a pretty creek running through the property. For the price it's good and I would visit again, my only complaint was the restaurant wasn't open at all and that was something we were looking forward to. I understand they are under some renovations and construction so I have high hopes for future visits. It's not a brand new hotel but it's definitely cute if you're into a more rustic vintage vibe which we loved. "

"A historic hotel, excellent proximity to walkable restaurants and shops. I enjoy the two separate bedrooms for my family. I would have been happier with a less-saggy mattress (bed comfort weighs heavily in my ratings). Bathroom and linens were clean. Shower squealed during use. This is an excellent and affordable waypoint between Tahoe and the SF Bay."
