"Very slow checkin... but very nice! One of the elevators was not working so it would sometimes take a while to get to your room. The lobby was nice and the rooms we ok.. a bit outdated but nice size rooms Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast buffet was very nice with great selections! Overall not a bad hotel for the price! Was great location for The concerts I was there to see!"

However, i felt little privacy in my private riim as you can hear literally everything from the room door ( I could hear the guy next door breathing /snoring as if he was in the szme room). This is a very big negative for me so I would not stay there again. "

"The pros: The area is safe and convenient to Metro, buses, and there is a taxi stand in from of the hotel. The Metro is only a few blocks away and can take you to the beaches and other attractions. Flamengo Beach is a short walk away, and there are trails there for biking, running or walking with incredible views of Sugar Loaf. The internet also worked well and there is A/C and cable TV. The Cons: For the second long stay in a row (I also stayed last July), the bed was not very comfortable...
