"We had a wonderful experience staying here! The room was comfortable and well-maintained, though the AC was a bit loud. That said, everything else made up for it—the highlight was definitely the rooftop pool, which was a perfect way to cool off and relax. The overall atmosphere was great, and I’d definitely consider staying again."

"Very slow checkin... but very nice! One of the elevators was not working so it would sometimes take a while to get to your room. The lobby was nice and the rooms we ok.. a bit outdated but nice size rooms Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast buffet was very nice with great selections! Overall not a bad hotel for the price! Was great location for The concerts I was there to see!"

"It’s Centro Rio. Expect to see beggars and smell bad everywhere. It’s 10 min walk to metro via rundown streets. Staff were not impolite but no greetings nor happy face. Rooms are ok - very basic. "

"The pros: The area is safe and convenient to Metro, buses, and there is a taxi stand in from of the hotel. The Metro is only a few blocks away and can take you to the beaches and other attractions. Flamengo Beach is a short walk away, and there are trails there for biking, running or walking with incredible views of Sugar Loaf. The internet also worked well and there is A/C and cable TV. The Cons: For the second long stay in a row (I also stayed last July), the bed was not very comfortable...

"We had a great stay at the Riale.. the hotel is a little old but it’s really good.. breakfast is great and the staff is very nice.. the location is great.. metro, grocery store is a waking distance. Actually you can have everything around the hotel.. I would definitely stay at the Riale again.."
