"Although the building itself is on the older side- they have maintained it very well. The pool & hot tubs were nice and everything was clean and tidy. It was a good place for us to stay as we went both north and south from there to explore the Redwood forests. Breakfast was better than most BW's we've stayed at previously. If you are looking for a convenient, clean room for the night then you can't go wrong. The staff was also very nice."

"I had an amazing and relaxing time at the Oceanfront Inn. The view is simply breathtaking. My room was very clean, and it is well decorated. It is so quiet here, as well! No sounds of busy roads, just the sound of the Pacific. The drive on the winding mountain roads are well worth it! The Innkeeper Nickie is awesome. She called me right before I was ready to leave for my trip. She really accommodated me when the room I booked wasn't available- thank you again, Nickie! I will definitely be back, hopefully I can stay longer next time! "

"Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata area from now on, as the location is central and very convenient to hwy 101."
