"Hard to live here without a car, it’s far from downtown in a city without much commotion. Everything else is satisfactory but soundproof is a problem, can clearly hear other people and cleaning staff when they simply walking by outside, and neighbors accidentally banging on the wall is a bit scary at night. "First time in Kobe. Nice hotel in the harbor. I stayed in a corner suite on the 9th floor. Had a great view of the harbor. Was nice to sit out on the deck at night and have a drink. The second morning staying a cruise ship pulled up right beside the hotel. It was so quiet you wouldn't even know they were coming in. Sitting on the 9th floor.I was the same height at the top of the ship. Was fun sipping morning coffee in my robe watching them come into port Good location 10 minutes walk from Kobe...
