"Excellent service, we loved the pool and hot tub and especially liked the frogs calling in the koi pond area at night. Breakfast hit all the marks, great waffles, bacon, omelets, hard boiled eggs and even biscuits and gravy in a modern, clean dining room. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. No complaints at all!"

"Have not stayed here for several years. It has improved a lot since our last visit! Excellent reception employees. Hotel is now surrounded with a well designed and pleasant looking security fence. New paint. The hallway has new carpet and light fixtures which much improves the ambiance. Although these rooms are not fancy, nor do they have carpeting, they have freshened up the decor and they are clean. Excellent value for the cost as well. Will be staying here in the future while in the Arcata area from now on, as the location is central and very convenient to hwy 101."
