"The Watergate is the most luxurious hotel I have stayed in to date, and it definitely reflects that. I think while the exterior is showing its age with the dated architecture, the interior and the staff do all they can and then some to make up for it. The lobby is beautiful, and so are the rooms. I almost forgot the views of the Potomac also did their fair share of helping with the exterior too. Overall, one of the best experiences I have ever had in a hotel."

"I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Melrose many times over the past few years. The hotel and its staff are only getting better and better. Everyone is smiling and aiming to please. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, especially the beds. The location is very good, right between Georgetown and GU. It’s easy to access everything and the metro is very close. I will continue to return, thank you to the wonderful staff! "

"Not a hotel, an apartment building where there are some corporate suites. No maid service so you are on your own. Nice gym - but you are in an apartment building so be prepared to go to the store if you need more soap, or toilet paper or any supplies and you need to change your own sheets an make your own bed (they did supply some clean sheets in the closet)."

" Wry nice property and location but service is terrible, AC did not wrk throughout the whole stay and weather was in the 80’s. There was no one to solve it. Rooms had no blinds, so it was really hard to sleep with the street light coming in at ningun and the sun in the morning. Everybody at the property pretended it was a very normal thing not to have shutters in a 4 star apartment!! When I requested a later check in or checkout if available, they tried to charge me the equivalent to a one...
