"The hotel was lovely and of a good standard for what we paid and situated in the perfect location. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a quiet rear room, which was quite small. However, it was sufficient for two nights stay. It offered some nice touches, such as cocktail glasses and a good selection of condements. "Great hotel in a peaceful location. Just what we needed for a restful nights sleep after an extremely long journey. Rooms well equipped, comfortable and super clean. Restaurant well set out, good menu choices and friendly helpful staff. Sorry to not have time for a game of golf! "

"The staff is truly exceptional, as is the location and suitability for theatre goers. This is an older hotel in some ways but we found it charming. Several steps or stairs in unusual places but so many smiles and kind words. Very nice breakfast and pre-dinner meals. Champagne cold and well-served. We have been to Stratford 6-7 times over the last decade and will always come here now."
