"We had such a lovely stay at Victoria’s Lily Pad apartment. It was like a home from home. The kitchen has everything you need to self cater and the bathroom was clean and modern, the shower is amazing. Overall the apartment is so comfortable and perfect for a couple. Bidford upon Avon is such a central base to visit the surrounding areas. Stratford is about 10-15 away in the car. Broadway and Bourton on the water are stunning and well worth a visit. Stow on the wold is pretty but not as much to do there. There are so many more places we want to visit in the surrounding area but just didn't have time so we will definitely revisit and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook the lily pad. The parking is right next to the apartment and is such a bonus. Thank you Victoria for a lovely stay. Emma and Matt x"

"We were a group of 7 ranging from 24-86 & a dog - the cottage was an absolute home from home. Downstairs bathroom & bedroom meant my mum with mobility issues was comfortable. The tiled floors downstairs mean no worries about dirty feet and paws. The house is comfortable & homely, you don't feel like you are treading on eggshells as everything is well used (in a good way) so you're not scared about touching anything! It feels warm &relaxing. 5 mins drive to Bidford with takeaways and Co-op. Lovely river walk on the doorstep for the dog. Geoff was fab, lots of communication & everything you could ever need to know in the folders in the house. The only things to be aware of - which are specified in the listing - are that the parking is not right by the house (& you need to reverse out up the lane), garden isn't enclosed & you have to go through the single bedroom to get to the twin, the bathroom is downstairs. These minor "inconveniences" are more than made up for by the amount of space. All the bedrooms are spacious and the downstairs layout means everyone can be together but have their own space & there is plenty of seating for everyone to sit together by the fire or at the table. We had everything we needed to cook a full roast dinner (the slow cooker was a bonus!) The wood-burner is massive and wonderful. So all in all I can't recommend Geoff's cottage highly enough. If you want high end modern spec then it's not for you, but for cosy comfort in a home that feels loved 10/10"

"Lovely place to stay, room nicely appointed, staff friendly and helpful and set in tranquil location with ample grounds. Restaurant and bar area, including outdoor dining space also very nice and make the most of the old converted water mill building. Did not eat on this occasion but did a few months ago but from what I saw, nothing has changed and it would not disappoint. All in all will definitely return either to stay or just to dine."
