"A nice property in a central location in the city center. We found the staff (front desk and lounge) very friendly and helpful. Parking (paid) is directly behind the hotel. Rooms were clean. "

"Staff and public areas were excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of TLC which is a shame. The hire of a skip for a day to remove all the rubbish and fishing debris would help. The bedroom accommodation needs a lot of paintwork and updating. I've slept in more comfortable beds in Premier Inns! Housekeeping was a bit erratic. The quality of the food at breakfast was mediocre. However it's perfect for dogs and the staff were great."

"The area is lovely and well kept the log cabin that we stayed in was in need of some TLC and the sofa had definitely seen better days the bed was fine and it had everything in the kitchen that you would need for a short break."
