"The hotel had some difficulties during our stay because it coincided with storm Eowyn and some facilities were not available but with good cause. The staff were fantastic and we were particularly impressed with the way all the catering staff worked together irrespective of status. Refurbishment is occurring and will be on-going but the impact was minimal however, the end result will put this venue in the top places to stay."

"Brilliant stay and we look forward to staying again - and have already recommended to family. Rooms large, warm, comfortable and quiet. Views over Lamlash are amazing. The lady who runs the hotel was so incredibly helpful, coffees in the room in the morning, helping with electric car charger - nothing was too much and met with a smile. Breakfast was AMAZING too!"

"we booked a room to stay as we were attending an event. We were disappointed when we realised the hotel was separate from the venue building with no covered access between the 2 buildings. The hotel was clean and basic. The staff were lovely. Our hairdryer didn’t work, but I used the one in my sisters room and informed them on check out.The breakfast was a tad disappointing as it was dry, but a reasonable choice. "The Glenburn Hotel has outstanding views from the hotel restaurant / lobby area, so I enjoyed it as much as I could since my room looked on to the roof, blocking the view. A little misguided from the outstanding photos on Expedia. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and I really enjoyed my walks in the lovely area of Rothesay. This coastal town allows you to feel disconnected, without having to be too far from the mainland. I would definitely suggest taking a taxi from the ferry...

"We stayed at Piersland for a couple of nights for Hogmanay (New Years). It was a lovely room - very comfortable and cosy despite it being stormy weather. We went for the gala dinner and it was great fun. Fantastic food and service. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Would recommend for families and couples."

"A lovely overnight stay in a very comfortable room with a stunning view across the bay. Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with very good choices in the morning.
