"I once stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel. but this feels more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and so is the shared spaces. This place is good for solo travel or a quick night stay. "Great seaside resort. Spacious room, good view of the ocean. The private baths were simply divine, perfect way to relax and unwind. Complimentary beer/water/snacks in the room, ice cream after your private bath. The staff were great even with the language barrier they made sure you understood where your room was and where things are on a map. There is parking in front of the hotel but we arrived via taxi, approximately a 5000 yen fare from the Coaska Bayside Stores depending on time of day."

"It was great. Wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Front desk was great help with so many questions. It's nice that some staff did not speak English, and some did very well. One morning my daughter was exhausted and couldn't make breakfast. Without asking the chef packed her a special to go breakfast that was perfect and amazing. Arigato gozaimasu Kamakura WeBase.... The new beds and feather pillows were difficult for us to sleep on. Futon firmness and personal preferences. "

"I love staying in more traditional lodging when visiting Japan, and Irodori was what I was looking for. "Liked the spacious and clean rooms and all amenities provided. Front desk staff was excellent and very accommodating, especially with luggage transfers. I wish they provided room service when I caught a cold and couldn’t join the rest of my family on their excursion. Unfortunately, for the prepaid buffet, my family was not allowed to bring food back up to the room for me (it would have been nice if that was possible). Was disappointed that my husband was sent back up to change his shoes because he wore the room slippers one morning. The staff in the breakfast buffet should be more consistent with this rule as other guest were seen wearing their slippers as well (only makes sense if you’re on a vacation but we understand rules are rules) - we stayed for 7 nights."

"My stay at the APA hotel in Roppongi was awesome! From initial check-in the staff was friendly and helped me through the the steps when I had questions during the self check-in. The TV was actually a great tool that displayed the amenities of the hotel; free movies/ shows, wifi code, where the spa and washers were, times for the restaurant, even tourist info. Everything was clean and all the consumables would get replaced daily with a switching of the linen every 3 days which the TV would remind you of. The hotel is right next to an underground transit line and only a 5 minute walk to the nearest family mart. The at the very top was the pool/ observation area that gives you a good view of the city. The only things I had trouble with were the laundry washers and learning to use a pants press instead of an iron haha, other that I wouldn't mind staying again next time I visit the Tokyo."
