"The hotel is a historic place and shows its age but still is a very comfortable environment. Eventhough it is across the street from a 5star property, getting a taxi is time consuming. Breakfast was good but the bar closed early. If you're out to a show or dining, when you get back to the hotel it's pretty much only a place to sleep. "

"This is the second time we have stayed at the Hamilton, and both have been excellent stays. The location can’t be beat. It’s a 15 minute ride from DCA, and walkable or a short Uber to many of the museums and monuments. There are many restaurant nearby, and the restaurant on site is delicious, especially for breakfast. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the staff excellent. We will stay again. "
