Waldorf Astoria Washington DC

5.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (1000)
"The property is gorgeous and the staff was very attentive and pleasant. The food was not great. The lobster roll is terrible. It appears to be sautéed with so many spices and pumpkin seeds that that lobster could have been a tofu substitute and we would have hardly known the difference. The breakfast arrived cold due to the difficulty that they have getting the food from the basement kitchen onto a busy elevator. (Explanation we received.). Seems to me that they need a better system."

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC Downtown

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"Convenient area to everything, hotel was well kept and staff was very friendly. Strange complaint but bedding and sheets definitely aren’t dried with drying sheets so they are very very staticky. To the point if you move the bedding at night you can see the sparks from it and if you touch anything after laying in bed it shocks you. Besides that, very pleasant experience. "

Le Meridien Washington, D.C., The Madison

"The hotel is very clean. Smells wonderful. The front desk was very help, especially the gentleman with dreads, he is very welcoming and he explains things to make guests happy. The problem with this hotel is the parking. They charge parking for $60 tax =$71 per day. There is close parking places for only $10 per day. That having been said, please read carefully on hotels before booking. The sad thing is when we asked where the parking garage or lot was, the guy/the valet just offered to...
