The fridge was full size and the kitchenette had a microwave and a two-burner cooktop. There were also pots, pans and a cutting board. The pool and hot tub were on the second floor. "This stay at the salamander was a little less than my expectations. The one thing that made things better were the managers, they were on top of everything. Although there were some things subpar the managers professionalism and troubleshooting for resolutions made it almost effortless. I would like to say thank you to Joe, the housekeeping manager, he was very kind and understanding. The restaurant was good. The location was excellent a 10 minute walk to the wharf. "This was so disappointing. This was my first time in Washington and the reason I chose this hotel was because of the location and that we would have an apartment. Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean and we didn't feel comfortable. There were a few doors on the wardrobes which we nearly falling off. The bed sheets didn't look clean.
