"This is a cool older hotel. It has some quirks, but lots of charm. One issue in the 7th floor bathroom: There's not a separate light from the noisy fan. It makes it difficult to listen to the TV news while you're getting ready in the morning. Small things. But the location is superb in downtown Washington. They also could use some complimentary coffee downstairs."

"The building is beautiful. It’s well maintained and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. The phones and tv didn’t work and the first day the maintenance didn’t show up. The second day they worked on the tv but 20 minutes later it stopped working. But we weren’t there to talk on the phone or watch tv. Their room service food was awesome.
