"Great place to stay for a few nights! The location is close to the metro station and also to some landmarks like Palacio La Moneda y Plaza de Armas. Staff was polite, breakfast included, cool backyard and Pool. There was a kitchennette very convenient and in general, a great experience. The only low point is that the zone is a little bit dangerous, mainly during the night. Always try to return before is dark. With day light by your side there is nothing to worry about."

"Lovely stay at this hotel, excellent location for the city. Breakfast was excellent along with the service at all hotel areas - bars etc. one huge concern was the availability of lifts - one broke for the complete stay & another intermittently not working which meant we had to use the stairs to the 7th floor."

"Es un hotel antiguo que se quedó en sus mejores años. Guardapolvos de pluma it, cerámicos quebrados, la gente del aseo nunca respetó el “no molestar”. Ya me había quedado ahí años atrás y por eso volví pero después de esta estadía creo que ya no más."

"The hotel staff were very friendly,and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast offering was not as good as expected. Often The food wasn’t as fresh as it should have been. The property doesn’t match the description on this website. It needs upgrading . Nice pool area but again needs some attention, eg plants need cutting back. The hotel is situated in an excellent location. "

" I recently stayed at this charming hotel and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance made me feel like I had stepped back in time or was staying in a museum. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom was a bit on the smaller side. The staff were exceptional, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Initially, the location seemed a bit sketchy, but it turned out to be in the heart of everything, making it very convenient to explore Chile Centro. I would definitely stay...

"My wife and I chose to stay overnight in Santiago as we headed to Patagonia. We are so, so, so happy that we chose to stay at Hotel Plaza San Francisco. The staff treated us like we were 5 Star guests. They allowed us to check in early for a small fee. They also were able/willing to do a small cash exchange at the check in. The staff was great. They need all the praise they can get for being so hospitable. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and the restroom was super clean. Loved the shower. The morning breakfast was excellent with many options. The location, for us who love to urban walk, was excellent. We were able to easily walk around town and feel safe while doing it. The taxi dropped us off and picked us up at the front door. The whole experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this stay for anyone staying in Santiago. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Santiago in the future. Awesome experience. "
