"Central location. Great view. Very nice accommodations. Would stay again. NOTE: the entrance is confusing to get to, especially after hours, since you need to access the plaza via the walkway at the parking garage entrance in the side street (in a dodgy area). Access from near the metro station is the usual way but this gets gated off at night."

"My wife and I chose to stay overnight in Santiago as we headed to Patagonia. We are so, so, so happy that we chose to stay at Hotel Plaza San Francisco. The staff treated us like we were 5 Star guests. They allowed us to check in early for a small fee. They also were able/willing to do a small cash exchange at the check in. The staff was great. They need all the praise they can get for being so hospitable. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and the restroom was super clean. Loved the shower. The morning breakfast was excellent with many options. The location, for us who love to urban walk, was excellent. We were able to easily walk around town and feel safe while doing it. The taxi dropped us off and picked us up at the front door. The whole experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this stay for anyone staying in Santiago. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Santiago in the future. Awesome experience. "
