Hotel Ella

4.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1000)
"I was in Austin for a heart ablation at St David's and had to wait an additional day after surgery. It is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. The staff was very attentive and amicable. We ate in the restaurant, and the food was very tasty. I only have 2 complaints, our TV didn't work during our stay, which is not a big deal I'm not a great fan of TV anyway. The other issue was I was stranded in the elevator a bit comical really. I managed to get the elevator to respond to move from the 2nd floor...

Suite in Historic Downtown Home - 4 Blocks from Capitol

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (334)
"The property was wonderful. The hosts have devoted much time and effort to providing thoughtful touches throughout. It was perfect for our needs, a two-day stay near downtown. It would be equally well-suited for a longer stay as a base from which to explore Austin. The patio with a pecan canopy was a delightful way to close out our first evening there."

"Room was very nice....bed comfortable! Bathroom clean and nice amenities! Good breakfast each morning 🌞! Wish there was a microwave IN the room!! Very inconvenient to have to travel to the second floor to heat up something and back to the room. Not much to do downtown in terms of shopping or anything. Several restaurants in the area. Lots of homeless in the area...but all in all ...nice hotel. "
