"Valet parking was annoying. You have to pay if you don't want to park a ways away, but if it's at all busy you have to keep circling until there is a space to pull in. The incuded breakfast was good and the room was nice."

Hotel Indigo Austin Downtown - University by IHG

3.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (1004)
"The property itself and the staff were great. Really cute hotel and eight in the thick of things. Saying that, it’s a bit noisy outside and while it’s next to fun bars and restaurants, it’s also next door to a homeless shelter so juts be alert if you’re out at night. "

Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center

3.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1001)
"Was great, clean and well furnished with very nice design. Only thing i didn't like is the odors in my room 809, it seemed like a dirty old locker room. And the main entrance has way too much febreeze or some other strong scent. I also found the temperature too cold in the main entrance lobby. Other than that it was a very nice hotel."

Hyatt House Austin/Downtown

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1604)
"The location is great, walkable but not too close as 6th street can get really load and rowdy. The bed was comfy and the rooms were spacious. But the AC was pretty load and 76° is also quite warm for Texas. They indeed have the smallest pool in Austin. Breakfast buffet looked great and the cocktails at the bar were good. Valet worked fine too. "

Element Austin Downtown

3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (814)
"I loved my stay! The staff was friendly and even offered us an upgrade to a room with two beds instead of the king bed we originally had. It felt like they knew exactly what we needed, which made our stay even better. The only downside was the parking situation. There’s no parking garage for the hotel, and while they offer valet service, it’s pretty pricey. It would’ve been great if valet was included. I ended up parking at a garage across the street for $33 overnight."
