"A lovely hotel in a lovely quiet spot over looking Frensham Pond. Room huge, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Bar area a little subdued and lacked some atmosphere, it could have done with some back ground music. Staff were nice enough but sadly lacked enthusiasm and interaction with their customers. "We booked Sunday and Monday night for a relaxing stay. We should have done our homework beforehand as we had never stayed in a hotel that closed its restaurant on those evenings. Breakfast was very nice, however you have to help yourself to everything - hot drinks, cold buffet, cook your own toast, hot breakfast. Staff were on hand to assist, stock up and clear tables. We found it all very DIY, so if you want a relaxing stay and to be waited on hand and foot, this place is NOT for you. Daily...
